Asterisque Shawlette Knitting Pattern
The Asterisque Shawlette combines old fashioned texture with strong modern lines for an elegantly rustic triangle shawlette that you will both love to knit and wear.
Knit from the top down, Asterisque’s body of starry - or asterisk-like - texture is worked in a daisy stitch radiating symmetrically from the center rib stitch.
A unique ribbed edging combines twisted and brioche-like ribbing with bobble stitches for more depth and texture. The deep and graceful scallops come from blocking - you may block with a straight edge if preferred.
