The Offred Shawlette knitting pattern: an easy to knit, striped garter stitch shawlette knit from side to side.
Offred is designed for a set of five 80-yard mini skeins. The striping creates transitions between colourways: knit from palest to deepest shade to create a gradient or mix things up to create your own mix of color.
Worked side from side, with i-cord edging and garter stitch (not short rows) with an i-cord bind off.
Shown in Phydeaux's mini skein set, The Handmaid's Tale, but perfect for any set of Phydeaux five 80-yard mini skeins.
Ideal for both tonals, variegated or speckled colourways - or any mix thereof.
